If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids on Earth Day, a nature scavenger hunt is always a lot of fun. You can go to a park, take a walk or even do it in your backyard. Sometimes for a nature hunt, we do “find something in these colors” and make a list of colors to look for.

Another idea is to recycle a brown bag and write on the front of it a list of things to look for and put in the bag. We did this for Earth Day in my daughter’s class two years ago and it was a lot of fun.
